[ ] Apply for degree candidacy May 2013 and August 2013 grads need to apply no later than February 1, 2013 to ensure your name will listed in the Commencement Program. Applications are still accepted with a late fee after the deadline. It is recommended that you complete the degree candidacy (often referred to as the degree check) the semester before you plan to graduate.

[ ] Opt-in with Career Services! For just $5, you gain access to highly valued online career resources for UA Students! Don't miss out on these incredible resources for students that will help you target and focus your job-search towards success.

[ ] Participate in the Campus Interviewing Program through UA Career Services.

• Learn about job possibilities with employers who recruit on campus as well as others who may not.
• Career Information Center employer directories and online resources like Career Search Employer Database.
• Register for Wildcat JobLink.

[ ] Learn and polish your job search skills. Polish your résumé, develop interviewing skills, buy a professional suit and practice through a Mock Interview through UA Career Services.

[ ] Research graduate school information.

• The Graduate College.
• Career Services Web site.
• Academic departments and faculty.
• Meet with Career Counselor to discuss your plans.

[ ] Clear your academic record. Previous incomplete grades must be converted to satisfactory letter grades before you can graduate. Incompletes received in your final term will prevent you from graduating. Where? Office of the University Registrar  in CCIT Room 337.

[ ] Go to spring Grad Fest, March 19 - 21! Order your academic regalia during Grad Fest on the main floor of the U of A Bookstore. Get everything you need at this one-stop-shop including Graduation announcements, college rings, and more! For May grads, we will also hold a Grad Fest in the spring.

 [ ] Order your official UA Class Ring! A Josten’s ring representative will be at the U of A Bookstore on campus during Grad Fest (March 19 - 21). The Spring Ring Ceremony will be held in the U of A Bookstore on May 2.

[ ] Order your graduation announcements! Josten’s representatives will be at the U of A Bookstore on campus March 19-21 to answer questions and take your order. You can also pick-up a flyer from the Bookstore and order online anytime.
Tip: It takes 2 weeks for your announcements to arrive, so please ORDER EARLY!

[ ] Order your Cap and Gown! You can order your cap and gown year-round, but the easiest time to do it is at GradFest on March 19 - 21 at the U of A Bookstore.

Tip: Sizes sell out, so order early to ensure you are able to get the correct size!

[ ] Verify your address! Verify your current and permanent home addresses to ensure receipt of time-sensitive degree information and your diploma. Where? Office of the University Registrar  in CCIT Room 337. 

[ ] Satisfy all financial obligations (fines, tickets, fees, etc.). Where? Bursar’s Office located at 888 N. Euclid, Room 105. Outstanding debt will delay release of your diploma and transcript.

[ ] Complete your exit interview with the Office for Student Financial Affairs. 

[ ] Get your diploma frame! Frames are 20% off during the 3 days of Grad Fest only, March 19 - 21. Frames can be purchased anytime at the UA Bookstore on campus.

[ ] Book your Grad Trip! We will be offering a Grad Trip this year through Contiki. More details to come!

[ ] Update your information with the UA by registering on the UA Alumni Directory.
